Day 15: Mindful Dancing.
Welcome to day 15 of this mindfulness Advent calendar. Today I’d like you to turn up the volume, choose a happy song and dance all the december stress away. You may do this regularly, but how about you bring in a big portion of mindfulness today? Make sure you’re undisturbed for the duration of the song and you’re feeling comfortable. Stand still until you feel an impulse from your body to move. Don’t think about your movements, just do whatever feels right. Let your intuition and your body intelligence guide you.
How are you feeling now? I do this exercise for 10 minutes (usually 3 songs) on a daily basis and it really changed my life. It’s perfect to let off steam and get in touch with ourselves again. Happy mindful dancing!
