Day 3: Listen To Your Heartbeat
Welcome to day 3 of this mindfulness Advent calendar. Today I’d like you to check in with your heart. Sit or lay down for a small moment and try to feel the beating of your heart. You may also want to place one hand on your chest. Just stay with the sensation for a while and mindfully observe the rhythm and intensity of your heart, without thinking about or judging it.
How are you feeling now? Remember how many times your heart has beaten just for you (an average amount of a 100’000 times per day) and let a feeling of gratitude arise for being alive. Life is full of miracles!
